Obtaining a Certificate of Good Standing

The Certificate of Good Standing verifies that an attorney is a member in good standing with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.

To obtain a certificate of good standing, an attorney must do one of the following:

  • Submit a written request to the Clerk's Office that states the attorney's full name and state bar number.  The Clerk's Office will usually complete and mail the Certificate of Good Standing within one week.
  • Requests can also be made in person at the Clerk's Office. Most times the certificate can be completed while you wait.

 

Fees:

The certificate of good standing issuance fee must be paid prior to you receiving the certificate. Court fees can be found HERE.

Checks should be made payable to: Clerk, U.S. District Court.
