Juror Dress Code

Business casual attire is acceptable, but since you will actually be involved in court proceedings, clothing such as tank or halter tops, shorts, T-shirts, or sweat pants is not appropriate to wear while you are sitting as a juror. Also, no hats are permitted in the courtroom during any proceedings.

Food and drink should not be taken into the courtroom. If you are selected as a juror, the court will provide soft drinks, bottled water, and coffee during breaks.

Books, magazines and newspapers should not be brought into the courtroom.

Smoking is not permitted in the Courthouse. Breaks are generally of sufficient length to permit jurors to go outside where smoking is permitted.
